These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website and services of Karfiling, a brand operated by MJSK FINANCE ("we", "us", "our", or the "Firm"), with its registered office at 2014, Trade House, Ring Road, Surat, Gujarat 395007, India. By accessing our website, creating an account, or availing our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website or services.
2. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. The revised Terms will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our website or services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
3. Services and Engagement
We provide professional financial, taxation, registration, and compliance services. The specific scope of any engagement is defined by the service or package you avail. Any advice or output we provide is based on the information, documents, and instructions you supply to us, and on our understanding of your specific circumstances at the time.
We will use reasonable professional care and skill in providing our services. However, the outcome of certain services depends on government authorities, regulators, and third parties, and is not within our control (see Section 7).
4. Fees and Payments
- Fees for each service are as displayed at the time of purchase. Applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) will be charged on our professional fees. A GST invoice will be issued; it is your responsibility to provide your GSTIN at the time of payment if you wish to claim Input Tax Credit.
- Government fees, statutory charges, stamp duty, and similar third-party charges, where applicable, are separate from our professional fee. These are notified to you and collected, and then remitted to the relevant authority on your behalf. Such amounts vary by service, state, and circumstances and are payable on actuals.
- Online payments are processed through our third-party payment gateway (Razorpay). We do not store your complete card or banking details.
5. Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate, complete, current, and truthful information and documents required for your service.
- Reviewing and confirming the accuracy of all returns, applications, and filings prepared for you before they are approved, signed, or submitted.
- Disclosing all material and relevant information necessary for the proper performance of the service.
- Being aware of, and meeting, the applicable due dates and compliance requirements relevant to you.
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
We are not liable for any loss, penalty, rejection, or delay arising from incorrect, incomplete, delayed, or misleading information or documents provided by you.
6. Government Fees, Penalties, and Taxes
All government fees, statutory penalties, taxes, and similar charges relating to your engagement are payable by you on actuals. We are responsible for the preparation and submission of the work we are engaged to perform; we are not responsible for, and will not pay, any statutory penalties, taxes, or fees levied on you by any authority.
7. Factors Outside Our Control
The acceptance, approval, or registration of any application or filing rests with the relevant government authority, regulator, or third party, and is at their discretion. We do not and cannot guarantee any particular result or outcome. In particular, we are not responsible for:
- Rejection, objection, query, or refusal by any government authority or regulator.
- Delays caused by government processing times, backlogs, or technical issues on government portals (for example, the MCA, Income Tax, GST, or FSSAI systems).
- Delays caused by your late or incomplete submission of information or documents.
Such matters are beyond our control and do not constitute grounds for a refund.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to our services or these Terms shall not exceed the amount of the professional fee actually paid by you to us for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary loss or damage, including loss of profits, data, or business, arising from your use of our website or services.
9. Refund and Cancellation Policy
Refund Eligibility
You may request a refund within 30 days of payment. Refunds are subject to a 20% cancellation charge to cover work already initiated, documentation, professional time, and platform costs.
Refunds are NOT available where:
- The service has already been completed;
- A government fee has been paid on your behalf (such fees are non-refundable to us);
- The delay or issue is due to government processing time or your delayed submission of documents or information;
- More than 30 days have passed since payment.
Requesting a Refund
To request a refund, please contact us through your account or using our published contact details, providing your transaction details and the reason for the request.
How Refunds Are Issued
An approved refund is issued in one of two ways:
- To your original payment method — returned to the card, bank account or other method you used to pay. Refunds normally reach your bank within 5–7 business days of being processed.
- As credit on your account — added to your account balance immediately, and usable against any of our services.
Account credit does not expire. It cannot be transferred to another person or withdrawn to a bank account.
You may tell us which you would prefer when you request a refund. We will follow your stated preference wherever we can, and will tell you if we cannot.
Change of Service
If you wish to switch from one service to another (for example, from Trademark Registration to GST Registration), you may request the change within 7 days of payment.
Free Switch (Recommended)For a full refund with no cancellation charge, follow this process:- Place a new order for the desired service and complete payment in full
- Raise a support ticket on your original order requesting the switch (mention the new order ID)
- Once the new payment is confirmed, your original order will be cancelled with a full refund (no cancellation charge)
- Refund is processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days
Switch Without New Payment First
If you request cancellation of your existing order before paying for the new service, our standard refund policy applies — a 20% cancellation charge will be deducted from the refund.
Limits:
- Maximum 2 switches allowed per original order
- Each switch must be requested within 7 days of the most recent payment
- Government fees already paid (e.g. trademark filing, GST registration) are non-refundable regardless of switch path
To request a service switch, raise a support ticket from the Client Portal on your existing order and include the new order ID and reason for the switch.

15. Service-Specific Terms
In addition to the general terms above, the following apply to specific services:
Trademark Services
- We cannot confirm the availability of, or guarantee the acceptance or registration of, any trademark. Acceptance and registration rest solely with the Trademark Registry.
- Objections, examination reports, oppositions, and refusals are part of the trademark process and are beyond our control. Assisting with a reply to an objection or opposition, where part of your engagement, does not guarantee a successful outcome.
- It is your responsibility to confirm the accuracy of all information provided for trademark filings. Unless otherwise stated, prices are for one class; additional classes are charged separately.
Company Closure / Strike Off
- A company must meet the statutory eligibility criteria for strike off (including a nil position, no pending charges, and filings brought up to date) before an application can be made. If you instruct us to proceed despite not meeting the eligibility criteria, we are not responsible for any rejection by the Registrar.
- Government fees for strike off (and any applicable stamp, notary, or penalty costs) are payable by you and are non-refundable once paid on your behalf.
- Where a company has assets, liabilities, or creditors, strike off may not be appropriate and a formal liquidation process may be required; this is a separate engagement.
All Services
- Where a service depends on approval, processing, or action by a government authority, regulator, or third party, the timelines and final outcome are subject to their discretion and are not guaranteed by us.
